My Car

People keep asking me about my car and for many years now I have resisted putting up photos of it. My dilemma is that I'm an environmentalist and I know that we don't need more cars on the roads. But because of the popular demand I have decided to put photos of the car up. They are in sequence, as the car was being made, or rather rebuilt by me with a little help from some friends.

 

It is basically a Triumph TR7, but it has a Dolomite Sprint engine, which has itself been modified to include both Jaguar and Land rover parts. The body has been substantially restyled and has features from cars as diverse as Ferrari Boxer, Mini and the Princess, for those of you that remember that wonderful model.

 

I have a classic insurance policy that means that I can only drive the car for 5000 miles a year. In fact I have never reached that limit. I spend more time working on the car than I do driving it. My first form of transport is my feet, and my second is my bicycle. But every now and then I do like going topless.
