The Chimpanzee
By Isabel Garnsey
Swinging gracefully through the trees
Listening to the buzzing bees.
The chimpanzee so full of life
Doesn’t know the meaning of strife.
Slowly man comes to the jungle
Carrying their mechanic bundle.
Cutting everything in their path
No-one can utter a laugh.
Finally the land grows still
Man has killed
Destructions all that’s there to see
No more happy chimpanzee.
