Worm and Louse got wed.
By Holly Henstock (aged 11)
There’s a Woodlouse in my hallway
A Worm on the floor of my room
One proposed to the other
And so they were bride and groom
The wedding went fine, in fact perfect
The Worm’s white dress was pretty
The louse was happy and kind
And the Worm was thin and witty
They got along fine and dandy
They had no problems at all
But something horrible happened
During the following fall
They both became melancholy
The Worm had lied to the Louse
So he decided to divorce her
And then she moved out of my house
Their lives were ruined right there and then
Right in the middle of Autumn
But they might just get back together again
If the events come back to haunt them.
