You touch my soul with fire

With words full of meaning

And heartfelt feeling

delivered with a zap

In a rhythmical rap

I'll wager a bet

You'll be poet laureate

For you inspire

Thanks for the poem Linda, nice rhythm and rhyme, but I have to tell you (and the world) that I don't want to be poet laureate and would never take the job. But it the thought that counts.
