Leaving an empty sky
Above the hills
Above our town.
Buses swish by.
Strangeers are laughing.
My friends have gone in
I'm alone
It's time to go home.
Someone runs to the posy,
Leaving an open door
A family makes it self toast
Round a fire
Down the corridors
It's chilly
And I've been out all day:
I want my tea
It's time I was home
So put an end to all this
Violence
Let it be over soon."
