This is the man to take you higher
A prophet of our time
They call his benjamin Zephaniah
a master of the rhyme
His name is taken from the bible
his poems form the sky
his words and verses made so able
this is the reason why
He hates to fight and lives for peace
his prophecies are so cool
they've looked him up, the wicked police
this man he is no fool
He keeps his poems in his head
no reason to write them down
a prophet and a natty dread
and doesn't need a crown
This man he is an influence
his words are in my heart
this man he sits upon the fence
he's also very smart.
