Is it right for me to feel ashamed
That I caught a social disease?
And that I'm easy to pick on?
Does that give you the right to have a go?
It's as though I'm the school pick-me-up
A tonic - even for the teachers
They shout at me
Because no-one else is paying attention.
Everyone recognises the label I carry
It invites unwanted attention
Some people even say I deserve it!
Whatever the reason
I just wish they'd tell me!
